Coplug’s founder, Darshana Gothi Chauhan Chauhan and Public Health Analyst, Reem Shamlakh, presented “How spatial analysis can drive place-based population health management and urban planning” alongside Paul Simkins, Associate at Arup, who presented a thought provoking piece on ‘Upstreaming health and wellbeing through outcomes-led design’. Thank you to the team at Salus for such an insightful event and Beau Herr for chairing the session.
We had the opportunity to showcase the development of Sidm Health- location data analytics platform focusing on the Primary Care Network baseline assessments delivered for 48 PCNs for North East London ICS which has now been expanded to cover Primary Care Networks across England.
We demonstrated how a spatial analysis data led approach that brings together a wide range of indicators across Local Demography, Wider determinants of Health and Health Outcomes can answer a range of complex questions raised by Public Health analysts, Clinicians and Estate Planners through Sidm Health’s analytics platform. It was great to hear from a multidisciplinary audience of public health professionals, architects and urban planners who provided their perspectives on how best to strengthen cross-sectoral collaboration to build healthier cities.
